QM: Quadrupedal Movement

Post by stealththief » Wed Jul 08, 2009 6:10 am

I talk about QM a ton, it's short for quadrupedal movement, some exercises/parkour techniques. They're useful for all kindsa stuff. A great exercise is to cat walk up stairs backwards (or down stairs forwards). They're all good for coordination and for ridiculous balance and body awareness catwalk on top of rails. Here's a video that shows various types of QM for fitness and movement.

As an added bonus QM is low and relatively fast compared to most styles of crawling so after you practice consider adding it to your NO movements repertoire. Most of the time I say QM in reference to cat walk, hope this clears up anything people weren't sure about.

Maybe I should do some real practice QM'ing. Whenever I find myself doing it on an op I always think im gonna break my arms or wrist from lack of experience.
